About Us
From initial brief to project completion, we continuously strive to ensure each project achieves its maximum potential. Our joinery is one of the largest off standard manufacturing facilities in Ireland. We pride ourselves in implementing quality design, manufacture and installation systems by using the finest cutting edge technology, materials and experienced craftsmen & personnel.
We recognize that for many commissioning a project or a piece of furniture is in many ways a leap of faith, but with our many years experience, our cutting edge technology and proven creativity we make the process as transparent and effortless as possible.
Our Policies
Glenn Wood Tullamore manufacturers all products in-house where possible ensuring that the highest quality standards are achieved. We have a team of highly skilled staff who have received certificates, diplomas and degrees in their designated area i.e. Cabinet Making, Machining, Polishing, Solid Surface Fabrication and Furniture Design. All products are fully inspected before they leave the factory by the factory foreman to ensure that the highest standards both we and our customer expect have been achieved.
Where sub-contractors are being used for manufacturing i.e. glass, steel etc., Glenn Wood Tullamore only use contractors & suppliers that they have long standing working relationships with thus ensuring that they are aware and compliant with Glenn Wood’s quality standards.
Rigorous quality control procedures, coupled with a single point of contact for each client and highly developed work practices are designed to guarantee the quality and scheduling on every project.
Success for Glenn Wood is not defined just by the absolute quality of our finished product, but by working closely with our customers and delivering each project within budget and on time.
Environmental Policy
Glenn wood Tullamore do not have a specific Environmental policy, this said we are very environmentally conscious. All our waste is separated in the factory into glass, steel, general before being taken off site by Thorntons Recycling for recycling.
We use a wood burning heating system which allows us to recycle any waste wood to be used in the wood burner to heat the premises thus reducing our waste & also cutting out the use of oil for heating the premises which in turn significantly reduces our carbon footprint.
